GWAAC attended my wife Joyce when she recently tragically passed away. We organised a collection in her memory at her funeral and promoted the service provided amongst our friends and family, raising over £200 (we are told) . I am an accountant by profession and would like to volunteer to help on the administrative side. I don’t know how much time I could donate, perhaps I could start “small” and develop from there? Please let me know how I can help.

      Dear Events team,

If your London to Paris cycle ride is still happening today, depending on your route into Dover, we are a pub (the Crown and Sceptre) just a short distance from the Elms Vale recreation ground where many charity cycle rides assemble before heading on to the ferry port. We regularly welcome any of the early birds for a cold or hot drink, soft cushion, a bite to eat and the chance to recharge phones and use our free wifi to log on. Many find us a comfortable resting point before heading onto the ferry and we have a secure pub garden at the rear where precious bikes can be safely parked. Please let your marshalls know that is they are in the CT17 area we are happy to see any of your riders, and can also provide icepacks and plasters if needed!

      Our address is
      Crown and Sceptre
      25 Elms Vale Road
      CT17 9NZ

We even take cards for those who can’t fit a lot of money into all that sexy lycra!

    4. Elizabeth Forster says:

Having seen booking are closed for December, I tried the other months and they all appear closed too. I was directed to this site by Mark Fleetwood, as part of an invitation given to FrontierMEDEX for our recent fundraising activities. My son would love to come and visit your center so that we can find out more. Could we reserve family space for 2 adults and 2 children on one of your visit days?
