The Memorial Hall, Rangeworthy
Join The Court Players at The Memorial Hall, for a night of unexpected twists and a chilling thriller.
On the 12th, 13th and 14th October 2017 The Court Players will be delighting us with their next production, “A Touch of Danger”. A thriller written by Francis Durbridge, will leave audiences with unexpected developments and leave sorting the ‘good’ guys from the ‘bad’ guys as an interesting challenge!
The story begins with Max Telligan, on return to his London apartment from a business trip to Munich he finds his evening newspaper containing a report of his own violent death. Subsequently, he is greeted by a parade of mysterious visitors who seek a pocket-sized calculator, threaten him with a poison tipped walking stick and display photographs of his wife in flagrante delicto. Max has, it seems, unwittingly become embroiled in the activities of an international terrorist group…
Francis Durbridge, who was famous for creating the character Paul Temple, is master craftsman, with an unequalled record of keeping audiences poised on the edge of their seats.
Following the success of the Court Players recent production of “Blood Brothers” and their sell out productions of “Panic Stations” and “Death in Character”, not to mention their ever-popular pantomime “Humpty Dumpty” this thriller is set to be an unmissable performance!
Tickets cost £8 and £7 for concessions.
Once again, the Players will be supporting the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, with a raffle and collection buckets at each performance.
