Lent Lunch – The Guide Hall Winchcombe

Come join us for a Lent Lunch at The Guide Hall on Winchcombe High Street.

The lunch will be provided by two local Winchcombe coffee shops – Food Fanatics and North’s Bakery.

It will be held on Friday the 24th of March from 12pm until 1:30pm.

The cost is £5 with all profits will be donated to The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

The Guide Hall Winchcombe, Winchcombe Gloucestershire

The St. Briavels Peoples’ Choir Concert – Assembly Rooms, Gloucestershire

We would like to invite you to the St. Briavels Peoples Choir Spring Concert.

The concert will be held at the St. Briavels Assembly Rooms in Gloucestershire village on Saturday 25th March between 7:30pm and 10pm.

Tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children. Tickets can be bought at the door or by calling Fiona Pagnamenta on 01594 531151.

A drink and light refreshments will be included in the ticket price. 

Proceeds and donations will go to the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

Gloucester Races

Gloucester Races, in association with Amlin Plus, provides some of the most exciting horse racing of the Point-to-Point season.

Set in Maisemore Park on the banks of the river Severn in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, the natural grandstand enjoys spectacular views across to the Cotswold escarpment. New for 2017 is a Country Fair and Shopping Pavilion, along with a Charity Race in aid of the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and Ledbury Hunt.

We are delighted to be hosting one of a Nationwide series of 14 high profile Mixed Open races, supported by Timico, which will be run for the maximum total prize fund of £1000. With 8 races on the card, and two hotly contested pony races, licensed bookmaker, food stalls, shopping pavilion and country fair, Gloucester Races promises to be a fantastic sporting day out for all the family to enjoy.

Tickets cost £12.50 per person, under 16’s go free. Gates open at 11am and we look forward to seeing you there!

Great Wall of China Trek 2018 Info Evening – The Huntsman, Bath

We would like to invite you to an Information Evening on the Great Wall of China Trek 2018.

The Great Western Air Ambulance are organizing a major trek along the Great Wall of China in 2018 to raise money for the charity.

The trek will be seven and a half days long with 10,000 steps to climb. Not only will you have the opportunity to see one of the most spectacular sights in the world, but you will also get the chance to visit Beijing and tour Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.

GWAAC need to recruit hardy souls who can climb the seventh medieval wonder of the world and raise an ambitious fundraising target. If you are up for the challenge please come to our information evening at the Huntsman on North Parade in Bath to learn more about the trek. The information event will run from 7pm to 8pm.
